Back on Your Bike - come try an ebike

Back on Your Bike: come try an ebike

Want to get back on your bike, without breaking a sweat?

Now's your chance with Chargd's Back on Your Bike program! You and up to five mates/family members/coworkers can test out some leading ebikes through the local area.
Feel the wind in your hair, explore the beautiful nature through the Linear Park trails, and embrace the opportunity to get active in the outdoors.

Thanks to Campbelltown City Council, we provide access to 6 electric bikes and helmets, allowing participants to explore our beautiful community in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner.

How does it work?

  1. Simply fill out the form below to register your interest.
  2. We will then be in contact to confirm availability of your preferred time.
  3. Meet us at the Chargd store 5 minutes before your designated time.
  4. You will be guided by someone from Chargd.
  5. Have a great time!
  6. Return the bikes back to the Chargd store at the designated finish time.

Don’t have a group of 6? Don’t worry, just let us know how many people and we can arrange for you to join a group.

What is the Back on Your Bike program about?

We want everyone, especially older community members, to stay active and healthy. That’s why we’re offering free access to electric bikes. It’s a great way to get fit, explore our beautiful area, and improve overall wellbeing.

Plus, it’s a fun way to meet new people or enjoy shared experiences with friends, family or coworkers. So come join us, hop on a bike, and let’s ride together!

Location

The designated routes, starting from the Chargd carpark at 637 Lower North East Road, Campbelltown, offer a 3.8km round trip journey, including Tranquil Court Reserve and the River Torrens Linear Park, Greenglade Playground area and Lochiel Park and return.

Additionally, the route offers an opportunity for riders to view Lochiel Park and its associated sustainable living, as part of their environmental learning journey.

This program is possible thanks to Campbelltown City Council.

NB: This program is not riding lessons or "how-to". This program is an opportunity to empower you to choose an ebike and adopt a new lifestyle! Plus, explore some of the local area. You need to know how to ride a bike before attending one of these sessions.
